Prince William ‘has no plans’ to meet Prince Harry as he returns to UK to see King Charles | Royal | News

Prince William and Prince Harry have “no plans” to meet while the Duke of Sussex is in the UK visiting his father King Charles, it is reported.

The 39-year-old dashed back to the UK following the King’s shock cancer announcement yesterday.

But the heir to the throne is focused on his wife Kate’s recovery and his return to public duties tomorrow, the Mirror reports.

The Prince of Wales is set to carry out an investiture at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, followed by a gala for the London Air Ambulance in the evening.

Harry flew into London Heathrow earlier today and was spotted arriving at Clarence House at around 2:42pm.

A source close to the Duke of Sussex say that he would have been open to meeting with Prince William “if the opportunity were to arise”.

According to the Mirror, a source said: “The Duke’s primary reason to travel to the Uk is to visit his father.

“If the opportunity were to arise to see the Prince of Wales then the Duke would have gladly accepted it.”

Following news of his cancer diagnosis, the King called both of his sons to let them know – as well as all three of his siblings, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew.

Upon finding out about his father’s diagnosis, Harry agreed to delay his visit to the UK until after Buckingham Palace made their public announcement.

A source close to William expressed that his “main focus” is on that of his wife, the Princess of Wales.

The Princess of Wales was discharged from The London Clinic on January 29 following planned abdominal surgery.

The mother-of-three had remained in hospital for 13 days, having been admitted on January 16.

The Duke of Sussex was spotted arriving at a private terminal at Los Angeles International Airport before he boarded a flight last night.

It is not known where the Duke will stay during his stay in the UK.

According to the Mirror, his former residence – Frogmore Cottage – is empty.
