Mike Tindall mocked for his ‚bored‘ facial expressions at Wimbledon | Royal | News

Mike Tindall has been the subject of much mockery on social media after he was photographed apparently looking „bored“ as he watched Wimbledon with his wife Zara.

It was the first time the Tindalls have been seen at Wimbledon this year, as they were joined by Queen Camilla, Zara’s brother Peter Phillips and his new girlfriend Harriet Sperling.

While the others sat in the Royal Box to watch the action, as guests of Rolex – a brand Zara is an ambassador for – she and Mike sat elsewhere with others invited by the luxury watch company.

The account Spotted at Wimbledon showed pictures of the sporty couple at the tennis tournament, captioning the post: „Mike Tindall *enjoys* Court 1 action with Zara Tindall on day ten of #Wimbledon.“

In one of the pictures, Mike sits slumped in his seat with his hand covering his cheek, while Zara has her arm around him during the match.

Another picture showed Mike, a retired England rugby player, checking his phone while Zara chatted with a female companion sitting on her other side.

But it seemed Mike cheered up enough to pose for some happy photos with Zara, as the couple beamed dressed in gorgeous summery attire.

One fan on X said: „Zara and Mike have looked great at every event recently. Lovely couple!“ while another added: „They are a spectacular couple and always coordinate their outfits.

A third also complemented Zara’s outfit: „That’s a really pretty dress and Zara looks lovely in it. I love the Royal ladies wearing pretty summery dresses. Mike looks great as well, I really like this couple.“

Another royal style fan pointed out: „This couple are so relaxed. Love how they have co-ordinated their look. Zara’s whole ensemble is beautifully put together.“

The Tindalls are one of the most popular royal couples, even though they are non-working members of the Firm and spend most of their time engaged with activities outside the family.

The couple live with their children Mia, Lena and Lucas on her mother Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, where they have been on hand to help out following her accident.

Last month, the Princess Royal spent five nights in hospital with concussion and minor injuries, probably sustained during an incident with a horse.

A source told Express.co.uk: „Zara is taking an active role in helping her mother recover from the accident. The Tindalls live a stone’s throw away [on the Gatcombe Park estate], so Zara is always on hand to pop over to make sure Anne has everything she needs.

„Mike and the grandchildren also make regular visits to make sure that everything is kept as ’normal‘ as possible for Anne. Tim [Princess Anne’s husband] is also proving a great support.“
